Fany Melfi
Vocalist | Artist | Founder of Unorthodox Art
Cult of BizART
Fany Melfi is a Greek singer, performer, and composer known for her unorthodox presence across symphonic and extreme metal, blending avant-garde expression with raw emotional force. With deep roots in performance art and vocal experimentation, she challenges the limits of identity, beauty, and sound.
She has collaborated with acclaimed acts such as Septicflesh, Belphegor, and On Thorns I Lay, and in 2024 took part in two landmark performances: at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, and at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, both with Septicflesh and a full symphonic orchestra – merging brutal sound with neoclassical grandeur. Fany is also featured on the soundtrack of Mandragora a forthcoming video game scored by Christos Antoniou, and she contributed haunting vocals to the soundtrack of Made in Vain, a documentary exploring the inner world of bodybuilders, also composed by Christos Antoniou.
Her artistic philosophy is embodied in her founding of the movement Bizart – a personal manifesto and platform for extreme, liberated, and anti-linear artistic creation.
She bases her method on unorthodox technique and liberated expression, often rejecting traditional notions of form and vocal aesthetics in favor of emotional rupture and psychophysical intensity.
“I will not teach you. I will unmake you.” – Fany Melfi
Today, Fany Melfi continues developing her own project and live performance collective, The Perve, where she pushes voice and body to the edge of ritual and revolt.
